Santa was great to all of this year, He brought me my new wall in my bedroom, which I love!
Christmas was great in our new house. We did the whole family coming over on Christmas day and it is always alot of fun when we all get together. My yard is covered in marshmallows from the kids guns and the new tire swing got a lot of use. I still have way to much food left over but I don't think any of us could have eaten more if we wanted to. The gift exchange game is always alot of laughs. We all really need to get together more often but we all have such different schedules and lives that it make it hard for us all to make time to see each other more. So I guess that is what makes Christmas time more special the fact that we all take the time to spend together and celebrate.

Getting started

Ok, I am new at this but here are some up dates on my crew:

We have moved into our new home and love it. I love being able to find everything, I never want to live out of boxes again. We have our tree up and gifts under it and we are planning the menu for our traditional Christmas day get together with family and friends. We are excited to show off our new beautiful home. Finally life seems to be slowing down and we are back to the simple day to day thing. I love cooking dinner and watching movies with the kids in the evenings and just being able to do simple things, like tucking them into their beds, in their room, surrounded by their things. Structure and security are things we are very grateful to have back in our lives. It got alittle scary there for a few weeks but it all worked out for the best. I just want to say "thank you" to all my friends who have been by my side through all the changes and reminded me that if I stay focussed on the important things the little things would work out. I am thankful to have a job and two wonderful healthy happy kids. I sit and watch main street Blacksburg fill up everyday with people going to Iron City in need. It is heart breaking at how many people are without jobs right now, struggling for that most basic things.

I hope all my friends and family have a VERY BLESSED CHRISTMAS and a NEW YEAR filled with all that they need and maybe a few Wants as well.

WE ARE TRUELY BLESSED!
